Introduction
The Orchestre d’Harmonie des Jeunes de Strasbourg (OHJS), created in January 2019, is made up of around fifty students from the Strasbourg Regional Conservatory, the Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin as well as other courses at the University of Strasbourg. His goal is to defend the original repertoire for wind ensembles and percussion.
The orchestra collaborates with many institutions, ensembles and performance halls such as the National Theater of Strasbourg (F) or the International University Music Festival of Belfort (F).
The OHJS recorded its first album in July 2022 in collaboration with composer Frédéric Unterfinger.
In 2023, the wind band recorded his second album with pieces of the french composer François Rousselot.
