CLINIC APPLICATION

The Artistic Planning Committee invites applications to present

at our 20th international conference!

 

  • Presentations may take the form of lectures, panel discussions, workshops or clinics and should be either 25 or 50 minutes in length.
     

  • Any topics related to symphonic wind bands/ensembles and their repertoire including:

    • rehearsal techniques,

    • artistry in performance, appropriate repertoire at all grade levels,

    • regionally significant repertoire,

    • programming,

    • marketing and concert promotions,

    • use of technology,

    • composition and arranging techniques,

    • and research related to pedagogy and performance.
       

  • Proposals tailored towards developing bands and advanced/professional ensembles are welcome.
     

  • Note that historical presentations/papers would be more suited to our publications. rather than this event.

 

 

KEY INFORMATION

  • Presenters must be WASBE members at the time of the conference.
     

  • Proposals are due on June 15, 2023.
     

  • Clinicians will be notified of their acceptance by August 1, 2023.
